2025 has started in the best possible way for Albanian legionnaires, who have stood out with their play and contributions on the field.
In Besiktas’ first match of the year, Ernest Muçi immediately took center stage by scoring a spectacular goal. The Albanian footballer, starting as a regular against Rizespor, equalized the score at the end of the first half, in the 45+3rd minute. The second half produced no goals, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the Turkish league, the year also began well for Taulant Seferi. The Albanian forward provided an assist in Bodrumspor’s 1-1 draw against Kayserispor. Seferi delivered a precise pass to his teammate, Cenk Sen, in the 76th minute.
Nedim Bajrami also contributed with an assist during Rangers’ away match against Hibernian. The Albanian midfielder started the game and set up Igamane for a goal in the 19th minute, extending the lead to 2-0. However, the match ultimately ended in a 3-3 draw.
Several other Albanian legionnaires contributed to their teams as well, while in some European and global leagues, the footballing year has yet to kick off.
