Women’s Association in the State Police Meets with Employees of the Korçë Police Directorate to Discuss Gender Equality Issues.
A meeting was held at the Korçë Police Directorate, attended by Wendy Rich-Goldschmid, advisor for the EMPOWER program of ICITAP, along with representatives from the ICITAP office in Tirana. The aim was to present the platform of the Women’s Association in the State Police and discuss gender equality issues, as well as the obligations stemming from the gender equality strategy.
During the meeting, the platform of the organization and the issues it addresses were unveiled. Additionally, discussions took place regarding the selection of delegates for the governing bodies of this association, which currently includes 170 female members dedicated to addressing women’s issues within the police force.
