The first minutes of the Bylis-Skënderbeu match start quietly, with Skënderbeu missing players and fielding young talents. Using a changed formation, they aim to attack Bylis’s zone more. Liridon Balaj has the clearest chance in the 4th minute after a mistake from the home defense and a pass from Rashica, but he misses the opportunity to score the first goal.
After this chance, Bylis earns two corner kicks, but Skënderbeu is well-positioned defensively. In Skënderbeu’s attacks, they pose a threat in the home area with Rashica and a cross from Zenullari in the 13th minute.
In the 19th minute, Bismark is caught offside by the linesman, and in the 21st minute, Bylis has a dangerous free kick outside the 16-meter box. Treni shoots with his right foot, but the ball goes over Marko Alia’s crossbar.
Bylis starts to push more into Skënderbeu’s half after the 20th minute, but without serious threats to Alia’s goal. Chances are few in the following minutes, as Skënderbeu rarely enters Bylis’s area, focusing on avoiding any potential mistakes in defense.
In the 41st minute, Skënderbeu earns a long-distance free kick. Juri Merlim serves in the box for captain Prençi, who fails to convert it, and this sums up a rather uneventful first half with a fair 0-0 score.
The second half begins with no substitutions, as Gvozdenoviç relies on the same lineup. Again, this half remains dull, with no significant chances and little danger for either goal.
As the clock hits the 65th minute, there have been no chances for either team, making it a truly stagnant match so far. Despite substitutions from both sides, the game maintains the same level, and the goalkeepers seem to be mere spectators in this second half.
In the 81st minute, Ermir Rashica takes matters into his own hands. Receiving a pass from Krasniqi on the left outside the box, he shifts the ball to his right foot and shoots, making it 0-1 for Skënderbeu.
Moments later, Bylis hits the crossbar, and Skënderbeu is lucky in these closing moments of the match.
Bylis misses another clear chance in stoppage time, and Skënderbeu is fortunate to secure a very important victory in this tough away match, marking their return to winning ways.
