Anthologies of global authors play an important role in enriching the cultural landscape of a nation, bringing in new voices and perspectives from different cultures. This poetic selection, masterfully translated by Arjan Kallço, who has brought these poems into the Albanian language with special dedication, allowed us, along with the students of ‘Raqi Qirinxhi’ high school and literature teacher Rezar Naço, to journey through poetry to experience rich emotions, ideas, and traditions from around the world.
The activity was enriched by the heartfelt verses of Dritëro Agolli, ‘When You Are Very Upset,’ performed by the singer-songwriter Maksi Kulla. ‘The Lake of Your Spirit’ is much more than an anthology; it is a treasure of world literature that awakens universal feelings and offers new insights into human experiences.
