Opposition Protest Ends Outside the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
Democrat Edi Paloka, at the close of the protest, stated that the Democratic Party (PD) is not in favor of civil disobedience in Strasbourg. He added that European People’s Parties support the PD in its fight for free and fair elections.
“They have been informed about the ongoing attacks on the opposition, political imprisonments, and the influence of organized crime in the situation in the country. European People’s Parties support the Democratic Party. They will back the PD in its struggle for free and fair elections. This is the information, and meetings will continue throughout the rest of the day. We are not for civil disobedience in Strasbourg,” Paloka said.
