The Albanian national team has climbed two positions in the FIFA rankings. From 67th place, Albania now ranks 65th, following their success in the recent away match against Georgia, valid for the UEFA Nations League.
Albania triumphed 1-0 at “Mikheil Meskhi,” and as a result, the red-and-blacks have surpassed both Georgia and Finland in the FIFA rankings.
Albania will return to the field in November for their final two matches in Group B1 of the UEFA Nations League, against the Czech Republic (November 16, 20:45) and Ukraine (November 19, 20:45). Both matches will be played at the “Air Albania” stadium, and the national team is competing for first place in Group B1.
