The Department of Education and FEF expressed their heartfelt gratitude in an event organized to honor students and academic staff who participated in the 9th World Interuniversity Championship in Rome, Italy.
The event was opened by the department head, Dr. Albina Pajo, who praised the students and staff for their achievements and well-earned trophies at the Championship. She also highlighted other notable accomplishments of the university’s students in both national and international competitions, which have brought pride not only to Fan S. Noli University and the city but to Albania as a whole.
Special recognition and congratulations were given by renowned Albanian athlete and world-record holder Luiza Gega, alongside the President of the Albanian Athletics Federation, Mr. Taulant Stërmasi, who both attended the event. Luiza Gega shared insights from her sporting journey, encouraging students to pursue their goals with hard work, passion, perseverance, and dedication, emphasizing that such commitment leads to success.
Acknowledgment and gratitude were extended to the Fan S. Noli University Sports Association, the Albanian Federation of University Sports, and the Albanian Athletics Federation for their ongoing support and encouragement, which played a crucial role in enabling student participation in high-profile competitions.
The event featured video montages created by the students, capturing memorable moments from the championship and evoking the excitement and emotions of the competitions.
A special shoutout was given to the athletics team, which won 2 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal across six general athletics events. Congratulations went to the students Julian Vila, Stivi Këraku, Erkian Mançi, Danjel Ndoj, Milen Caco, Elisa Myrtollari, Livja Topi, Uibi Ahmet, Relaksa Dauti, and Redia Dauti, as well as the staff Mariela Burda, George Burda, Julian Shishi, and Arjan Kostani, for their remarkable achievements.
