Albanians have once again shocked Greece. Following Sunday’s incident where a 46-year-old Albanian man stabbed his wife to death and injured her son, another serious crime has occurred.
According to Greek media, a 39-year-old Albanian man called the police on Thursday afternoon and confessed to having killed his wife the previous Thursday.
Reportedly, the man admitted to killing his wife with a hammer and leaving her body in the attic of their home in Ampelokipi.
The call was made shortly after 6:00 PM local time, prompting police officers to arrive at the scene to investigate.
According to Greek media, officers noticed a foul smell as soon as they entered the house. In the attic, they found black bags suspected to contain the woman’s body.
The 39-year-old man confessed to killing his wife by punching and striking her with a hammer while their children were at school. He claimed jealousy as the motive for the crime. Throughout the following days, the children moved around the house, unaware that their mother’s body was hidden there.
