The last day of Open Stage / Players born in 2010/2011 are tested, friendly match with talents from the elite Youth Development Academy

Date:

The Open Stage, organized by the Football Federation to scout young Albanian footballers from the diaspora, concluded its final session today at the “House of Football.” The event was overseen by national team coaches, the Technical Directorate staff, and the head of scouting at the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), Ardi Behari.

This last session featured players born in 2010 and 2011, who underwent physical testing and participated in friendly matches.

The young athletes played in four matches, followed by two final games between the top-selected players from each age group and teams from the “Elite Youth Development Academy.” This provided a valuable opportunity for the Elite Academy players to assess their level and measure themselves against peers from abroad who participated in this significant event.

The initiative by the Football Federation aims to connect young Albanians living and playing in clubs abroad, offering them a platform to showcase their talent. It also supports the National Team’s Technical Staff in identifying and evaluating promising players for potential inclusion in the Albanian National Team in the future.
