It has now been officially confirmed that none of the quality players will be leaving the team during the transfer window, which is a very positive development. However, looking at the current squad, it is necessary to bring in more reinforcements. But with simple logic, the conclusion is clear that some players need to leave the team. With 25 players on the roster, some spaces must be cleared to make room for new arrivals.
The need for departures has been clearly understood, even by the coach, who stated in a press conference: “Players who cannot adapt to my philosophy of play cannot stay in the team.”
But that’s not all—those who haven’t been effective in these two phases of the season have no reason to remain part of the squad.
Everyone has been given the chance and opportunity to express themselves on the field, and they should have done much better so that the team would not be in the situation it is in today. Indeed, everyone shares responsibility, but now the time has come to make a distinction between those who are truly quality players and deliver performance and those who should hand their shirts to others.
