The Road Police Sector arrested citizen E. L., 36, a resident of Korçë, caught in the act of refusing to comply with police orders to stop his vehicle in Korçë’s neighborhood no. 7. It was later determined he was driving under the influence.
The Korçë Police Station has referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office and initiated criminal proceedings against V. S., 52, a resident of Korçë, suspected of assaulting a 33-year-old man with hard objects over a minor dispute.
The Maliq Police Station has also referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office and initiated proceedings against E. H., 36, a resident of Mesmal, Maliq, accused of taking money from M. Sh., 65, through self-justice.
Crime Investigation Specialists at the Korçë Local Police Directorate referred cases to the Prosecutor’s Office and started criminal proceedings against:
- R. O., 57, a resident of Rëmbec, Maliq. During a search of his vehicle on the “Goricë-Pustec” road, police found and confiscated items suspected to have been smuggled from North Macedonia.
- P. K., 31, and D. G., 27, both Polish nationals. At the Qafë Thanë Border Crossing Point, during a vehicle check at the exit, various undeclared aromatic products were discovered and seized as material evidence.
