Yesterday, the first community foundation established in Albania was formalized.
It is called ‘Korçarët Ndihmojmë Korçarët’ (Korçans Helping Korçans).
It was created with the noble purpose of serving people, assisting those in need, and supporting the underprivileged. From addressing environmental issues to urban greening and aesthetics. To be an outstretched hand and a collective effort.
It was made possible by the will and contributions of Dr. Yvonne Naum, an American citizen and Korçan at heart, the ‘Global Albanians Foundation’ led by Mr. Mark Kosmo, and other patriotic Korçans.
It was introduced yesterday in Korçë, in the presence of several collaborators, partner organizations, friends and advisors of the foundation, and representatives of state institutions, all of whom I take this opportunity to thank.
Confident that together we will do good work for our country.
