Operation “Coordination” Successfully Concluded
A police operation targeting drug distribution has led to the arrest of four individuals, including a Turkish citizen, and the investigation of one person in a state of liberty.

- 57 grams of cocaine.

- Five mobile phones.
- Three biometric passports.
- A vehicle flagged by Interpol Rome.
Operation Execution:
The operation, codenamed “Coordination”, was conducted by the Anti-Narcotics Sector of the Korçë Police Directorate in collaboration with the Illegal Trafficking Investigation Section of Tirana Police and the Kavajë Police Station.
Based on intelligence regarding individuals suspected of transporting drugs from Rrogozhinë to Korçë and a vehicle with foreign plates flagged by Interpol, police quickly organized and executed the operation.
At the entrance of Korçë, authorities intercepted the suspicious vehicle, a Benz with foreign plates, driven by 40-year-old A.D. The car was carrying three additional passengers: a Turkish citizen, a 17-year-old female, and a 34-year-old man. A search of the vehicle uncovered cocaine and €9,000 in cash.
Subsequently, a search of the suspects’ residences in Rrogozhinë (conducted by Kavajë police) revealed a firearm (pistol) in the Turkish citizen’s home.
Arrests and Charges:
The following individuals were arrested:
- A.D., 40, from Rrogozhinë: Charged with drug production and trafficking in collaboration, as well as vehicle trafficking.
- O.Ç., 44, Turkish citizen: Charged with drug production and trafficking in collaboration, and illegal possession of firearms.
- E.Xh., 34, and a 17-year-old female, both from Rrogozhinë: Charged with drug production and trafficking in collaboration.
Additionally, G.K., 20, from Rrogozhinë, is being investigated for involvement in the drug trafficking operation.
The investigation, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is ongoing to fully document the case.
The materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further legal proceedings.
