The 173 passengers and crew of a Boeing 737 experienced moments of panic when its stabilizer malfunctioned, forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport.
The news of the forced landing was reported by the RIA news agency, which was informed by the airline Utair itself.
The Boeing 737, carrying 173 passengers, was en route from Saint Petersburg to the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan and landed safely, RIA reported.
Utair announced that the emergency landing was due to a stabilizer malfunction, the TASS news agency reported.
