After their first draw of the year in a challenging away match against Partizani, Skënderbeu has quickly returned home to prepare for their next game, which coincides with the Albanian Cup.
Earning one point in the 20th round of the championship has significantly boosted the team’s morale and psychological state. Now, the team is set to play not one but three consecutive home games, making the schedule highly favorable.
The series begins this Wednesday with a clash in the Round of 16 of the Cup, where Skënderbeu will host Vora at home. The match is scheduled for January 15th and will kick off at 17:00. This encounter is a single-leg match, and Skënderbeu’s objective is to advance to the next round and continue their journey in the Cup.
Following this, attention shifts back to the championship, with two more home matches lined up. According to the schedule, Skënderbeu will host Vllaznia in Korçë for the 21st round and will also welcome Teuta for the 22nd round, making it two consecutive championship matches at the “Skënderbeu” Stadium.
The match against Vllaznia is set for January 19th at 16:30, while the clash with Teuta will take place on January 25th, also starting at 16:30.
Three consecutive home matches represent a critical opportunity for Skënderbeu to achieve positive results and break their winless streak in the championship, which has lasted for more than 11 matches.
