Following the information provided yesterday regarding the accident on the “Korçë-Pogradec” road, which resulted in the death of citizen A.C., we inform you that the Traffic Police Sector arrested citizen K.L., 29 years old, resident of Maliq (currently under medical care, out of danger for life), in flagrante delicto.
The Pogradec Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office after a 15-year-old attempted suicide by consuming medication at home. The individual is currently under medical care and is out of danger for life.
The Devoll Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizen Th.Z., 63 years old, resident of Drobaj village, Devoll, on suspicion of stalking a minor.
On January 8, 2025, a 14-year-old resident of Pocestë village, Maliq, passed away at the University Hospital Center in Tirana. Preliminary investigative actions suggest that the death occurred due to natural causes (cardiac arrest).
The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further actions.
