This weekend, the quarterfinal matches of the Albanian Cup for the U-17 and U-19 age groups were played. In this stage, the eight participating teams from each age group faced each other, with the matches taking place in Kamëz and at the “House of Football.”
In the U-17 age group, Partizani, Vora, Apolonia, and Skënderbeu advanced further.
On Saturday, Partizani defeated Teuta 3-2, while Vora triumphed over Vllaznia 2-1.
Today, Apolonia beat Dinamo City 3-1, and Skënderbeu overcame Tirana 3-2.
According to the set format, Partizani will face Vora in the semifinals, while Apolonia will compete against Skënderbeu.
In the U-19 age group, Teuta, Tirana, Dinamo City, and Apolonia are the semifinalist teams of this edition.
On Saturday, Teuta defeated Bylis 3-0, while Tirana claimed a dominant 4-0 victory over Vllaznia.
Today, Dinamo City beat Skënderbeu 4-1, while the Apolonia–Partizani match ended in a 1-1 draw. In the penalty shootout, the Fier-based team proved more precise, triumphing 5-4.
According to the set format, Teuta will face Apolonia in the semifinals, while Dinamo City will play against Tirana.
