MALIQI travels to Memaliaj / DEVOLLI away in Delvinë

On Sunday, October 6, the third round of the second division for Group B will take place, featuring the two teams from the Korça Prefecture: Maliqi and Devolli. All matches this week will be played on Sunday, starting at 14:00.

After securing a win in the second round and resting in the first week, Maliqi will travel to face Memaliaj. Memaliaj, having zero points from two losses, appears to be an easier opponent on paper, allowing Maliqi the opportunity to grab their second consecutive victory. Maliqi defeated Luftëtari 1-0 in their second-round match at home and enters the game with high morale. The management and players are optimistic about returning from Memaliaj with three points.

Devolli, with two points from two draws, will also play away, but in Delvinë, in a match scheduled for Sunday at 14:00. Their two draws came against Turbina away and Butrinti at home, and dropping points has been their biggest disappointment. Delvinë, their opponent, has played only one match in these two weeks and lost, placing them at zero points. Nevertheless, it will be a tough away match, but the Devolli players will aim to secure their first win of the season.

Wishing success to Maliqi and Devolli in this third week of the second division!

Devolli pulls the ‘ear’ of the foreigners, a reaction is expected

Devolli team earned a draw in the first week against Turbina, a match that should have been a victory.

It seems that the foreign players were the ones who fell short, as they squandered numerous opportunities and didn’t meet the expectations of coach Trifon Meraku.

In recent days, president Spartak Meraku has been quite demanding of them, naturally urging them to reflect before the next match. The situation is quite different for the other players, who delivered a strong performance, which is very positive.
