Dutch police have seized a large quantity of cocaine hidden inside two coffins.
The drugs were discovered in the southern area of Numansdorp when police stopped a suspicious van. The driver, behaving oddly, claimed he was transporting two deceased bodies in the coffins. However, the documents he presented did not match the details of his claim.
As a result, the van and its coffins were escorted to a police facility, where officers uncovered bags filled with cocaine inside. The total weight of the narcotics was 250 kilograms.
Authorities estimated that if the drugs had reached the market, their value would have been approximately 13 million euros.
