Mborja is a village in Korça District in Albania.Mborja is located 4 km from Korça (to the east). In this village are located the historical settlement of the Castle of Mborje from the 9th century AD, and the Church of Ristozi, built in 1389. Several churches and mosques have existed in Mborje, with historical evidence of religious coexistence between the inhabitants. Studies show 12 old churches. Among them, the church of Ristozi, which is known as one of the earliest cult objects in the Balkans. The church, as well as the village, lie at the foot of the Morava mountain.The village with 3,850 inhabitants is dominated by the population of the Muslim religious faith, but there is also a significant number of Vlach and Orthodox families.
