Just a few hours after the “Skënderbeu” club officially confirmed the first departure from the team—Erolind Krasniqi—our portal, “Korça Boom,” now reveals the next departure. It is none other than Henrik Nerguti, the midfielder who joined during the final days of last year’s summer transfer window amid much fanfare but is now no longer part of the team.
Nerguti has terminated his contract with Skënderbeu, marking a definitive split. It’s worth noting that Henrik Nerguti played a total of 229 minutes for Skënderbeu but left no significant mark on a team where he was expected to shine.
Coach Ernest Gjoka had reportedly presented a list of players deemed surplus to requirements for the remainder of the season, and Nerguti’s name was among them. This marks his departure from Skënderbeu.
This news confirms that as many as seven players will leave Skënderbeu during this winter transfer window. The decision comes after the team’s disappointing performance during the 19 matches played so far, with Skënderbeu currently sitting in last place in the league.
The list of departures includes Henrik Nerguti, who has now left, and Erolind Krasniqi, the first officially confirmed exit. Additionally, Etienne Tare, the striker and son of Igli Tare, has also left the team and is reportedly set to play in Kosovo. Another departure is Tayo, a striker who failed to make an impact. Although Tayo is still training with the squad, his exit is expected as soon as Skënderbeu finds him a new club, with an agreement for his departure already reached.
These are not expected to be the final names leaving Skënderbeu, as more departures may follow. The current exits are tied to new arrivals, with incoming players set to replenish the squad during this winter transfer window. Once new players join, additional departures will likely occur.
For now, the focus is on Skënderbeu working quickly in the transfer market, both in terms of signings and exits, as time is short and the squad needs to be finalized as soon as possible.
Who will be the next player to leave? That remains to be seen, but Henrik Nerguti’s exit is the headline news of the evening, as he is no longer part of Skënderbeu.
