The amateur football championship in Korçë has kicked off, with reigning champions FC Helzag beginning their campaign with a victory over Trestenik.
FC Helzag triumphed in their opening match with a narrow 2-1 win against Trestenik! It was a tough match filled with chances for both teams. This football challenge marks the start of the amateur championship season in the Korçë region. The goals for FC Helzag were scored by Morava and Sheremeni.
This season’s format involves 12 home-and-away matches. The team ranked first will play a semifinal against the fourth-placed team, while the second-placed team will face the third-placed team in the semifinals.
The winners of these two matches will then compete in the final for the championship title. This season, participating teams in the Korçë amateur football championship include FC Helzag, KF Kalaja, Iron Sharp, FC Francezët, FC Trestenik, FC Dvorani, and Dishnica.
