In a recent official post by the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), which compared the two phases of this season with those of last season in the Abissnet Superiore, the Federation itself made a mistake.
Upon closer inspection of the accompanying images, it becomes clear that last season, Skënderbeu had 22 points, yet was represented with the emblem of Bylisi instead.
If this error had been made by someone else, it could have simply been considered a minor mistake. However, since this was an oversight by the most important football institution in Albania, it carries much greater significance and cannot be overlooked.
At the very least, the FSHF should publicly apologize to both clubs: first to Skënderbeu for mistakenly associating its emblem with Bylisi’s, and second to Bylisi, whether intentionally or not, for being inadvertently linked to last season’s Superiore with the wrong emblem instead of its own name.
