Gunshots were reported this afternoon in Cetinje, Montenegro. It is suspected that at least five people have lost their lives due to a shooting incident.
According to reports, a physical altercation occurred in a local establishment, after which the shooter opened fire. The media outlet “Vijesti” reports that these are the initial details from the police at the scene, and the death toll could be higher.
The incident took place in a tavern, and police are currently searching for the perpetrator.
In a statement, the police reassured the public that this was an isolated incident, not linked to high-risk organized crime groups. Special police units have been deployed to manage the crisis.
