As part of Dutch Cultural Week, the “Van Gogh Immersive Experience-Silent Disco” opened yesterday in Korçë, bringing an unforgettable experience of Van Gogh’s works to the Digital Art Gallery through art and music.

The Digital Art Gallery of Korçë is the first and only gallery in Albania that offers immersive exhibitions and provides a comprehensive digital art experience, combining traditional art with technology.

Today with ‘Friends of the Mountain’ and for ‘Friends of the Mountain’ at Gramoz!

A festive day in Rehovë, Kolonjë, to promote the beautiful nature of the region and to raise awareness for environmental protection!

This initiative, organized by the Local Group ‘Kolonja e Gjelbër,’ brought together nature enthusiasts, mountaineers, and the community to focus more on mountain ecosystems. It is an initiative worth praising and should be carried forward and established as a tradition!

“The girl has fallen in love and we have agreed. I want the groom to come out as soon as possible.

This is how we got married. We were young. I also got married at the age of 12. For us, age is not a problem; in our community, we marry young. We married our daughter willingly.

We are from Elbasan and we married our daughter in Korçë willingly. I want the groom to come out as soon as possible. He works and supports his wife.

When the child was born, the police were notified about the case. In the hospital, the girl was accompanied by her husband.”

A.J., who became a mother at the age of 14, says:

“I’ve known my husband for a year. We met in Elbasan. I told my parents as well. They agreed, and now I am married to him. I have a child, so why should they arrest him?

He didn’t take me by force. I want my husband to be released. Who will feed me and my child?!” she cries…

“I want him to be released today. I have no way to live; he’s all I have. He was my support. He worked to provide for us, doing two jobs, both day and night, to bring food home.

I want him to be released. My mom and dad have come from Milot, and I haven’t given any statement to the police, but I was informed yesterday that my husband is in custody.”

“‘In the Footsteps of Tasos’ by artist Anastas Kostandini (Taso) was a beautiful journey through colors and the brush of the Pogradec painter. It took place at the Center for Openness and Dialogue in the Prime Minister’s Office, in the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama, alongside fellow citizens, the artist’s friends, and admirers of visual arts.

Recognition and congratulations to painter Anastas Kostandini for presenting a very special exhibition through his characteristic colors.

The exhibition can be visited until October 3rd with the following hours: Monday to Friday: 09:30 – 14:00 / 17:30 – 20:30 | Saturday: 09:30 – 12:30.”

Alfred Peza has resigned from his position as the Director of RTSH.

Peza was appointed Director General of the Albanian Public Radio and Television in June 2023. He was unanimously elected by the RTSH Governing Council and was set to serve a five-year term at the head of the institution.

Korça is one of the cities that boasts a considerable number of sports grounds, but no matter how many we have, it’s never enough—especially when it comes to spaces where children can train.

The field you see in the photo is the sports field of “Fan S. Noli” University. For years, this field served as a place where students trained or played, as did the Skënderbeu teams, among others. But if you look at it today, it’s overgrown with grass, and only animals roam freely.

With a sports facility of this size, any city would be envious. Today, no one seems willing to take responsibility for changing the situation. If it’s under the university’s ownership, why such negligence, especially when we have a department dedicated to training Physical Education teachers?

It doesn’t matter whether there are funds or not, because they can be found if there’s a little desire and vision. We hope that the leaders, whoever they may be, who have access to this field, will think about and change this dire situation.

We have started implementing the project for the ‘Rehabilitation of the Mountain Dikes, the Collector, and the Main Road’ damaged by floods.
