Follow-Up on Previous Information:
Regarding the traffic accident reported yesterday in neighborhood no. 10, where a 75-year-old man was injured, the Traffic Police Department has taken the following actions:
- Arrest: M.I., a 40-year-old resident of Korçë, was arrested for violating traffic regulations.
- Arrest: E.V., a 50-year-old resident of Pogradec, was apprehended for driving under the influence and without a valid driver’s license.
Additionally, Korçë Police Station submitted materials to the Prosecutor’s Office to initiate criminal proceedings against Gj.L., a 26-year-old resident of Korçë. He is accused of stealing a mobile phone from a 23-year-old individual. The stolen phone was seized as evidence.
Meanwhile, in Pogradec Police Station, citizen A.M. reported that tools were stolen from his home in the village of Udënisht while no one was present. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s).
The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of the First Instance Court in Korçë for further legal action.
Preliminary Information – Korçë
At approximately 09:20, on “Muzakaj” Street in Korçë, a car, a “Benz” driven by J.A., struck an 87-year-old cyclist, F.R. The injured cyclist is currently receiving medical care at the hospital.
The driver of the car has been taken to the Police Station for further investigation.
A specialized investigative team is working to determine the circumstances of the accident.
