MEN’S VOLLEYBALL: Skënderbeu Dominates Studenti 3-0

Skënderbeu’s men’s volleyball team secured a commanding victory in the evening match at the “Tamara Nikolla” sports hall, defeating Studenti with a clean 3-0 scoreline. This win places Skënderbeu firmly at the top of Group B in the “Gjergj Kastrioti” League, earning a perfect 9 points.
This marks their third consecutive win in a short span of days, following triumphs over Ferizaj and Peja. Today’s match, held at 6:00 PM in the southeastern city, was a clear demonstration of Skënderbeu’s strength.
Set 1: Total Control
Skënderbeu started strong, taking an early 3-0 lead, then extending it to 7-2 and 13-7. From there, the team comfortably controlled the game, leading 20-12 before closing out the set 25-16 in just 19 minutes.
Set 2: A Comeback Performance
The second set initially saw Studenti take the lead, going up 5-1. However, Skënderbeu quickly regained momentum, equalizing at 6-6 and then taking the lead at 9-8. The team maintained control throughout, with the score progressing to 15-12, 18-15, and eventually 25-20, securing a 2-0 lead. This set lasted 25 minutes.
Set 3: Balanced Start, Strong Finish
The third set began evenly, with ties at 4-4, 7-7, 8-8, and 10-10. Skënderbeu then pulled ahead, establishing a 14-11 lead. This advantage was expertly managed by coach Arben Prifti’s team, who extended their lead to 19-14 and closed out the set at 25-18, clinching the match 3-0.
With this victory, Skënderbeu concludes Group B as the undefeated leader, earning 9 full points. Their performance solidifies their reputation as a “five-star” team.
