Recognizing the lifelong contribution of the “Merited Painter” Anastas Kostandini (TASO) in conveying the aesthetic and cultural values of our city through exhibitions and various works in the field of visual arts, the Municipality of Pogradec facilitated the creation of the catalog titled “Drawings from the Land of Life,” echoing the exhibition held during the summer season of 2024.
This solo exhibition focused on the evolution and beauty of Pogradec, offering profound insight into the artist’s psychological processes and his perception of nature and people. The catalog features over 70 drawings created by Anastas Kostandini.
These drawings reflect the artist’s emotional connection and symbolic interpretation of his hometown, Pogradec. Each piece represents a spiritual and historical map of the city, showcasing Taso’s exceptional talent.
During the event, the artist Anastas Kostandini expressed his gratitude for the support provided by the Municipality of Pogradec and his readiness for future collaborations.
