For the week that started today, our country is expected to be affected by predominantly unstable atmospheric conditions due to cold and humid air masses of northwestern origin.
According to the Military Meteorological Service, on Monday, Thursday, and partially on Tuesday, the weather is expected to be mostly clear with alternating clouds.
On Wednesday and Friday, the weather is forecasted to be cloudy with occasional intervals of clearing.
The clouds are expected to bring light rain across most of the territory, while in northwestern and southwestern areas, the rainfall is anticipated to be moderate to occasionally heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms.
At altitudes above 1000-1200 meters, light snowfall is expected, while in the Alps, snowfall intensity may reach moderate levels.
The wind is expected to blow from the northeast-southeast direction at an average speed of up to 8 m/s, while along the coastline, wind speeds may occasionally reach up to 14 m/s.
