Married couples in North Korea can now only be separated by death… This is the decree of dictator Kim Jong Un, who, with his latest act, has ordered prison sentences for those who wish to divorce. This is reported by the British media outlet Daily Mail.
To this peculiar decision, he has also added a ban on consuming hotdogs, or sausage sandwiches. The dictator claims that such food is overly Western and considers its consumption an act of treason against the nation.
Those caught eating or preparing hotdogs, even at home, will be sent to harsh labor camps. Kim Jong Un has also returned to his old obsessions. North Korea has confirmed the successful testing of a medium-range hypersonic ballistic missile. “The weapon will deter any adversary in the Pacific region,” stated officials from the isolated communist state.
The missile, launched on Monday, is the first to be fired in the past two months. The weapon was deployed into the sea at the same time U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was in Seoul for talks with South Korean leaders.
Hypersonic missiles are nearly impossible to track and intercept, as they can travel at extremely high speeds, up to five times faster than the speed of sound.
North Korea claims the missile traveled at 12 times the speed of sound for 1,500 kilometers. The South Korean military regarded it as a clear act of provocation.
