Pogradeci secured three crucial points thanks to Alidemaj’s two early goals in the 8th and 15th minutes. Erzeni faced an uphill battle when they were reduced to 10 players in the 23rd minute after Ergi Brahja received a red card. The situation worsened for the hosts as Akibu was also sent off in the 28th minute, leaving Erzeni to play with just 9 men.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Erzeni managed to score in the 43rd minute through Bespallov, bringing the score to 1-2 and reigniting the contest.
The second half, however, lacked significant events, with neither team able to find the back of the net despite creating opportunities. Thus, the match ended with Pogradeci taking a vital win.
