Police 2 arrested in korça cocaine and weapons are found

Korçë / Around 500 grams of cocaine, cold weapons and sums of money benefited from criminal activity were seized.Finalized after a 1-month investigation, the police operation coded “Night sales 5”, for the crackdown on the criminal activity of selling hard drugs in doses and possession of cold weapons.They distributed cocaine narcotics in the city and possessed cold weapons in their apartments, 2 citizens were arrested.A 41-year-old man is also being prosecuted for not reporting a crime, as he was aware of the criminal activity carried out by the 2 arrested persons.The Narcotics Investigation Specialists of DVP Korçë, based on the informational intelligence that two citizens in the city of Korçë, distributed in the city of Korçë, strong drugs in small doses, as well as possess cold weapons in their apartments, after 1 month of investigations under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, organized and successfully completed the coded operation “Night sales 5”. As a result of this operation, the following citizens were caught and arrested in the act:-I. B., 55 years old, resident of Ravonik village, Korçë and L. L., 35 years old, resident of Korçë.Also, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, where the criminal proceedings were initiated in a free state for the citizen E. Ll., 41 years old, resident in the village of Ravonik.The Police Services, during the checks carried out in the residences of citizens I.B. and L.L., found about 500 grams of suspected narcotic substance cocaine, a part of it divided into doses, 2 electronic scales, tools used to divide the narcotic substance into doses, the amount money in different currencies, suspected to have benefited from criminal activity, 1 metal bayonet, 1 knife, 1 “Nissan” type vehicle and 4 cell phones, which were seized as material evidence.Also, following the procedural actions, the proceeding was started in a free state for the citizen E. Ll., as he was aware of the criminal activity carried out by the other 2 citizens, but did not report it to the law enforcement authorities.The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
