POLICE / Dozens of doses of cocaine seized in the home of a 33-year-old in Korçë

Dozens of cocaine doses were confiscated from the home of a suspected individual involved in drug trafficking, illegal gambling, and disobedience to police orders.

As part of the investigative actions conducted for a case of drug production and trafficking, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Sector, under the authority of the First Instance Court of Korçë, carried out a search at the residence of the wanted individual, M. D., 33, residing in Korçë.

During the search, dozens of suspected cocaine doses were found and seized as material evidence.

M. D. is wanted for the criminal acts of “Production and sale of narcotics,” “Organization of illegal lotteries,” and “Disobedience to the order of a public order police officer.” On September 27, 2024, he failed to comply with police orders to stop his vehicle and fled the scene. Investigative actions suggest that this individual was involved in drug trafficking and organizing illegal gambling activities.

Efforts to apprehend him are ongoing.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further action.
