Korçë Police Directorate Report
The Traffic Police Sector has referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against the following individuals:
- E. D., 24 years old, resident of the village of Belorta, for hitting a 56-year-old pedestrian with the vehicle he was driving. The pedestrian is reported to be out of danger.
- O. Ç., 37 years old, resident of Pogradec, for hitting a 58-year-old cyclist, N. M., in neighborhood no. 8, Korçë. The cyclist is also reported to be out of danger.
The Pogradec Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against:
- S. S., 29 years old, resident of Pogradec, for allegedly punching a 39-year-old man over trivial motives.
- E. K., 37 years old, resident of Pogradec, who was caught in flagrante delicto using a mobile phone to place sports bets in a bar in neighborhood no. 2, Pogradec. The phone was seized as material evidence.
The Korçë Police Station referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against:
- Dh. J., 44 years old, and Th. Xh., 48 years old, residents of Korçë, who were caught in flagrante delicto using mobile phones to place sports bets in a bar in neighborhood no. 9, Korçë. The phones were seized as material evidence.
In addition, at the Korçë Police Station, a woman identified as E. M., 34 years old, resident of Korçë, reported that her 16-year-old son had left home on December 9, 2024. Efforts are underway to locate him.
On December 12, 2024, a fire broke out at the home of Y. C., 42 years old, in the village of Vashtmi, Maliq. The fire, caused by a wood-burning stove, resulted in material damages but no injuries.
Procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Korçë, for further investigation.
