Following the information provided yesterday regarding an accident in the village of Voskopoja, as a result of which the driver of the motorcycle and the passenger were injured (both of whom remain under medical care), we inform you that the Korçë Police Station has arrested in flagrante delicto the driver of the motorcycle, citizen E. H., 37 years old, resident of Tirana.
Additionally, materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, and proceedings have begun in a free state for the following individuals:
- Citizen J. H., 50 years old, for removing the motorcycle from the scene of the accident.
- Citizen A. B., 30 years old, for renting the motorcycle to E. H. without the proper documentation required for renting such off-road vehicles and without issuing a fiscal receipt.
The motorcycle was seized as material evidence.
The Road Police Sector arrested in flagrante delicto citizen K. B., 26 years old, resident of the village of Plasë, Maliq, for driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Specialists for Crime Investigation at the Korçë District Police Directorate referred materials to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating criminal proceedings against citizens K. B., 27 years old, and M. T., 33 years old. They were caught in the village of Tresenik, Devoll, attempting to cross the border illegally.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Korçë for further actions.
