Renowned actor and director Dhimitër Orgocka passed away on the evening of January 1, 2021, at the age of 84, following a cerebral hemorrhage. According to media sources, the actor had been hospitalized for two weeks before his passing.

Orgocka had an illustrious career, performing 82 roles on the stages of Albanian theaters and earning numerous accolades. As a director, he brought to life 104 premieres across theaters in Korçë, Fier, Elbasan, Prishtina, Skopje, and beyond.

He is fondly remembered for his significant contributions to Albanian cinema and theater, particularly for his role as Zoti Misir in the film Gjeneral Gramafoni.
