Fan S. Noli University held an Academic Forum as part of Kosovo Week.

The Academic Forum "Prof. Fehmi Agani - Academic Martyr of the Nation and Science" was held at Fan S. Noli University, as part of Kosovo Week, a series of events held at several universities in Albania.
The organizers of this Forum were: Fan S. Noli University, the Albanian Academy of Sciences, and the Albanian Institute of Sociology - Albanian Sociological Association (Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Diaspora).
In her speech, Associate Professor Dr. Benita Stavre, Vice-Rector for Science and Projects at Fan S. Noli University, thanked the organizers for bringing this Forum to our university. She highlighted the significant academic and human connections that Fan S. Noli University has established with the University of Prishtina, Prizren, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Gjakova, Peja, and most recently with the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj.
She appreciated this initiative especially for its focus on the significant figure of our nation, Prof. Fehmi Agani, a multifaceted personality. "His academic achievements place him among the leaders of our society, politics, and international relations of the Albanian nation. Meanwhile, his strong sentiment ranks him among the intellectuals and fighters who laid the national framework with the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of Kosovo."
Later, the meeting continued with a presentation titled "Kosovo at the 25th Anniversary of Freedom (1999-2024)" delivered by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Albania, Mr. Skënder Durmishi.
Professor Dr. Irena Nikaj, from Fan S. Noli University and also Chair of the Regional Branch of AIS-ALBSA, presented on "Kosovo Martyrs and the Polyhedral Personality of Prof. Fehmi Agani."
Cultural researcher and RTSH journalist, Ms. Kozeta Hoxha, addressed the audience with the topic "Kosovo: A Nobel Prize for Heroism."
Professor Dr. Lekë Sokoli, from the Albanian Institute of Sociology & UAMD, discussed "Parallel Lives of Kosovo Heroes" and honored Fan S. Noli University with the "Fehmi Agani Excellence Award" for their historical contribution, starting from the establishment of ILB in 1972, in advancing scientific education with a patriotic spirit.
