France, Germany, and the United Kingdom condemned Iran on Saturday for taking steps to further expand its nuclear program.
The three allied countries stated that with these actions, Iran is violating the historic 2015 agreement on its nuclear program. This follows the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announcement on Thursday that Iran is reinforcing its uranium enrichment facilities in two areas.
“These measures will further increase Iran’s enriched uranium reserves, the level of which has already exceeded the limits set by the 2015 agreement,” France, Germany, and the United Kingdom said in a joint statement.
