In the mid-20th century, Gjon Mili gave photography a new dimension by using light as a brush to create magical figures in the darkness. With a small light in hand and long exposures, he managed to create images that look like invisible drawings appearing in the air.

One of his most famous experiments was his collaboration with Pablo Picasso in 1949, where the Spanish artist used light to create stunning figures while Mili transformed them into photographs. This technique revolutionized the world of photography and influenced many artists in the decades that followed.

The Gjon Mili Photography Museum in Korçë keeps this valuable legacy alive, inviting visitors to discover how the magic of his work continues to inspire even today.
