The Special Commission focused on combating disinformation and other forms of foreign interference in the country's democratic processes has approved its working methodology, which is based on four main points.

"The first involves the review of the legal framework and practices to prevent foreign interference in democratic and electoral processes, with four objectives attached: preventing foreign interference in the economy, protecting and promoting media freedom against disinformation," said the commission's chairman, Erion Braçe. He added that there is interest from media and media organizations to contribute but called for more participation.

"I would also invite other media actors to join the group, which will be an important working group, as well as representatives of public and independent institutions that interact in the media field, of course, including foreign experts."

Pandeli Majko emphasized that this commission is not an "Albanian-style experiment."

"We are establishing a point to coordinate similar NATO experiences, seeking information from the Ministry, with the aim of making it clear to the public that this is serious work," said Majko.

As in previous meetings, the opposition did not participate in this commission.
