“It’s a pity because we could have won,” – Gjoka: The goal from the free-kick could have been avoided

Skënderbeu held to a 1-1 draw against Tirana today. Head coach Ernest Gjoka spoke to the media after the final whistle:

"It’s a pity because we had the chance to win. These are tough matches, mentally and emotionally draining. We conceded from a free-kick that could have been avoided. I don’t think our second-half performance was poor. I wouldn't blame anything unusual like the wind – maybe last week in Laç, yes, but not today."

"At no point did we make any unexpected changes – Ramos was always prepared to play as a right-back. We also had a tactical plan to close down the right flank and prevent Tirana from exploiting their strong points, especially players like Përgjoni."
