MEN’S VOLLEYBALL / A big celebration last night at the “Tamara Nikolla” Sports Palace, as the first team to secure their spot in this season’s grand final were none other than the Skënderbeu volleyball boys — the same guys you see in the photo below, who made us all so incredibly proud.

In their three-match series against Tirana, it was Skënderbeu who dropped the first game at home in Korçë. In the second match in Tirana, they were down 2-0 in sets — but managed an incredible comeback to win 2-3. And then, last night, these same players stepped up once again in the decisive third match and defeated Tirana, proving exactly why they deserve their place in this season’s big final.

Now, the final showdown will be Partizani vs. Skënderbeu — a five-match series where the first team to win three games will be crowned champions. Everyone knows the Red and Whites face a tough challenge against a very strong Partizani side, but they’re ready to give it their all — and why not go for the trophy they’ve been dreaming of?

This is a fantastic Skënderbeu squad, led by coach Arben Prifti, a team that has poured their heart and soul into every match this season, making us proud every step of the way.

And without hesitation, we can say: this Skënderbeu team is going for the championship title. After all, it’s not out of reach — it’s not a “taboo” anymore.
