Prefect Nertil Jole:

"With the director of the Pre-University Education Regional Directorate, Vinjola Rota, and the responsible officials of local education offices, we conducted the annual analysis of this directorate in our district, where detailed indicators and results of the year 2023 were presented.

The main focus is on improving the quality of educational institutions, consolidating a more qualified teaching staff, stimulating and improving students' results, as well as continuous infrastructure improvement and modernization.

The implementation of the National Program for the Professional Development of Teachers, digitization and technology projects in teaching, incentives and support for high-achieving students, collaboration between high schools and "Fan S. Noli" University, promotion and strengthening of vocational education as a necessity in the job market, and increased attention from municipalities for school infrastructure improvement were some of the aspects I emphasized in my speech.

During the meeting, we also collectively discussed with the Local Director of Police, Mr. Gjovalin Loka, the implementation of the "School Security Package" within the scope of every educational facility in the district, which is our constant concern.

Pre-university education is a top priority of the government, aiming to better prepare students for their academic life and future endeavors.

I would like to express appreciation and gratitude to all education administrators and teachers in the Korçë district, who, with dedication and often sacrifices, are with their students every day to provide knowledge and education.
