The Prefect of Korça, Nertil Jole, announced that in the meeting:

- In order to make a summary and discussion of the level of completion of tasks for the period that has passed from this year, as well as the setting of objectives and targets for the remaining 3 months of the year, I held an analysis meeting today at the Prefecture with the Vice-Prefects, the Secretary General and Heads of Sectors of the institution.

- The achievement for the season we passed was the administration of the Summer Civil Emergencies, bringing a significant improvement compared to the years 2022 and 2021. Meanwhile, work will now begin for the preparatory phase for the Winter Civil Emergencies.

- Public Safety has also had improved parameters compared to previous periods, especially during this tourist season, which has been the best year in this regard. Meanwhile, this season a special priority will be the implementation of the measures of the School Safety Package.

- Institutional control and coordination with all state actors and Local Self-Government Units, in implementation of the laws of the country and in the function of the citizens, remains a priority of the institution, and I believe that with joint commitment we will have the expected achievements, having also paying attention to the level of cooperation with various economic and social actors in the district, in order to further improve and improve the effectiveness of these relations, in the service of citizens and in accordance with government programs.
