Students from UNIKO, participants in the European University Games in Hungary, meet with the university's rector, Prof. Dr. Lorenc Ekonomi.

The newly elected rector of "Fan S. Noli" University, Prof. Dr. Lorenc Ekonomi, along with the Vice-Rector for Research and Projects, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Benita Stavre, and the Vice-Rector for Education and also the Chairman of the University Sports Association, Dr. Arto Adili, welcomed in a special meeting the students from the university football team. These students will represent UNIKO and our country at the European University Games in Hungary 2024.

The university leadership encouraged the students to participate with dignity, giving their maximum in this competition, and assured them of the institution's support for their professional growth and achievements.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that sports, especially its expansion, will receive proper attention and support from the University and UNIKO Sports Association.

This marks the tenth occasion that teams from "Fan S. Noli" University have represented us honorably in significant national and international sporting competitions.

At the European University Games starting on July 8th, we are represented by a team of 18 students accompanied by coaches Pandush Tasellari and Julian Shishi.

In these games, there are 16 universities with over 4500 students participating in 17 disciplines.
