Today at 9:00 AM, the farmers of the Drithas area held a protest to demand their rights. They placed their agricultural machinery by the side of the road and remained there for half an hour, demanding more attention from the state, support through subsidies, and measures to prevent foreign products from bankrupting them.

Up to this point, they were exercising their democratic right to protest, but what followed was even more severe.
