The first meeting of the Advisory Board at the Faculty of Agriculture, at “Fan S. Noli” University

At the Faculty of Agriculture, “Fan S. Noli” University, the first meeting of the Advisory Board was held today. This is a new structure composed of the leadership of the Faculty, heads of public institutions and private companies operating in the region, specialists from various fields, and alumni of the Faculty.

The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Besnik Skënderasi, thanked those present for their cooperation and ongoing support offered to the Faculty, now also as members of the new Advisory Board. He highlighted the valuable contributions they would provide in the development of contemporary curricula, open lectures, student internships, participation in meetings and discussion panels organized by the Faculty, and in promoting its academic offerings.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that suggestions and ideas regarding training needs for farmers in the fields of agricultural production, agro-processing, or agricultural business are also welcomed. This aims to enable the Faculty of Agriculture to fulfill its tertiary objective of meeting the needs of these communities.

In this first meeting, the Dean expressed his confidence that the concrete ideas presented, along with the support and commitment of all members, would result in inclusive projects, primarily involving the youth of the region, as well as institutions, farmers, and others.
