Three intentional fire spots in Pogradec/ Firefighters, residents, and forestry workers on the ground

On Saturday evening, intentional fire spots were activated in the Dardhas area between the villages of Grunjas and Prenisht. The flames had engulfed an area of juniper vegetation.
By the early hours of the morning, more than 15 personnel from the forestry service, fire brigades, and local residents arrived at the scene to isolate the fire spots.
Currently, two fires have been isolated and extinguished, and they are being closely monitored to prevent reactivation. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to control a third fire in the area between Dardhas and Prenisht, which broke out on Sunday morning.
According to reports, the situation is under control, and investigative actions will be taken to identify the person responsible for intentionally starting the fires.
A day earlier, two fire spots were active in the Çerava area, which have been isolated and extinguished with no significant damage.
