Today, on the 557th anniversary of the death of our National Hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, we honor one of the most distinguished figures in our history.

Through his heroic struggle against foreign invaders, Skanderbeg became a symbol of pride and resistance for Albanians.

His descendants will continue to honor and preserve his immortal legacy.

The statue in front of the “Skënderbeu” Stadium in Korçë and the hero’s name carried by all our sports teams dignify and immortalize the figure of the hero who makes Albanians proud wherever they are.
