Minella Borova (Korçë, February 22, 1947 – Buenos Aires, June 30, 2013) was an Albanian actor, lecturer, and poet.
In 1969, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in acting. For 10 years, he worked as an actor at the “A.Z. Çajupi” Theater in Korçë. He then spent 14 years as a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana. Throughout his career, he played around 50 roles on the theater stage, including in plays such as Njollat e murme, Qyteti i akuzuar, and Mësuesi i letërsisë. He also portrayed more than 30 characters in Albanian cinema, starring in successful films such as Rrugë të bardha, Në fillim të verës, Udhëtim në pranverë, I paharruari, I treti, and others.
In 1993, he emigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he lived with his family until the end of his life. He performed at the San Martín Theater in Buenos Aires, bringing theatrical productions to various national and international festivals organized in Albania (Tirana, Elbasan, Pogradec), Kosovo, North Macedonia, and beyond. Where Two Oceans Meet (Ku puthen dy oqeanet) is his first poetry collection.
